Chris Hopkins is a natural performer both on and off screen. A massively talented presenter, his energy and professionalism add lift to any live event - lifestyle, entertainment, game shows, factual, corporate... Chris has what it takes to make it happen. High profile hosting credits include Children in Need, the Radio One Road Show and the Pepsi Launch with Britney, Beyonce and Pink.
Chris established himself as the face of late-night TV on Five, hosting the interactive game show Quiz Call. He has recently been singled out by the ITV network to host a live Irish show for UTV called Brain Box. He is the only male English host to be accepted by UTV, which speaks volumes for his ability and popularity in live television. Previous presenting roles include Quiz Night Live for Endemol on FTN and the daily Sky Quiz Live show on Sky Mix. He has also been a regular host on Bid TV and presented game shows on E4 in conjunction with the German station 9Live.
Chris's numerous television credits include co-hosting Leeds Party in the Park for ITV2, A Day In The Life Of, On The Job, Used Car Heaven (all for Granada), and has appeared on the BBC's I Love The 80s, I Love The 90s, A Question of Sport and The National Lottery.
Chris's early broadcasting career was in radio, beginning with Radio Aire in Leeds as presenter and music and features producer. Other radio credits include, Minister FM - York, Viking FM - Hull, Atlantic 252 - National and Radio One, where Chris was the live event and road show presenter for more than four years.
Chris was awarded a Sony Radio Award for presenting and producing seven live shows from Disney World Florida, in aid of Give a Child a Chance.
An excellent live performer, Chris has hosted a wealth of high-profile corporate events. He is Ford Motor Show's regular presenter and has been a popular choice with other large organisations including Coca-Cola, BT, Puma, Adidas, Ernst & Young and Leeds United FC. His special all-round appeal led to him being chosen to host the unique Harry Potter Quidditch event in London. Chris has also been the face of Lynx "dry speed" dating, a live event across the UK to launch the latest brand in the Lynx range.
A massive sports fan, Chris is a season ticket holder at West Ham United. He is a regular at the gym and on the golf course. (when not on his Playstation!) He is also a highly successful DJ on the major nightclub circuit.
