Agent: Craig Latto

Richard trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He is an extremely versatile actor and comedic performer/writer, who has quickly made a name for himself across TV, stage and live comedy.

He is perhaps best known for being one half of the comedy duo Cook and Line in CBeebies' BAFTA-winning, smash-hit show Swashbuckle, now in its fifth series. This has lead to numerous other television appearances on the channel including RTS award-winning A Midsummer Night's Dream (RSC co-production). Most recently, Richard has co-created, written and starred in a new sketch show for the BBC. InterNot uses big comedy characters to satirise YouTube in a way that is both entertaining and extremely current.

Richard is also part of the new core cast in legendary comedy Horrible Histories; and with the cast, featured in RSC Live on BBC2, with a Shakespeare themed sketch. As well as this, he stars in all three series of sketch/mockumentary series Class Dismissed, in which he appears as the well-loved characters Mr Nasal, Mr Christopher, Mark and Mrs Mark. Richard has appeared in BBC3 comedy Dead Air as lead character Hardip and in E4's Skins: Redux, as character Rupert. He's also starred in BBC3 comedies Big Field and People Just Do Nothing (Series 4) as Chabuddy G's boss, Sam. As an actor he has developed sitcoms with Tiger Aspect, Hat Trick Productions and Spelthorne Television.

Richard is in huge demand as a voice-over actor. He currently voices roles in new animation Ricky Zoom and CBBC comedy The Zoo.

With comedy group Four Screws Loose, he has written and starred in five smash-hit shows at the Edinburgh Festival, as well as performing at numerous other festivals including Bestival, Latitude, Udderbelly and a sell-out run at the Adelaide Festival. They went on to have a sell-out residency at the Leicester Square Theatre and at the Soho Theatre, as well as a three week run at the Warehouse Theatre and have had over 100,000 views from online comedy content. They were New Act of the Year Finalists, stars of Radio 4's Sketchorama and selected for Radio 1's Fun and Filth Cabaret, broadcast on TV. Four Screws Loose received unanimous critical praise and has cemented Richard as one of the comedy scene's hottest new talents.

Stage credits include being part of the original West End production of Soho Cinders (original cast recording, Queens Theatre), Tranio in Taming of the Shrew (Derby Theatre), Jack Frost in Jack Frost's Frozen Christmas (Worthing Pavilion), Antonio/Stephano in The Tempest (Orange Tree Theatre), understudy Dan/Jeff in Potted Panto (Vaudeville Theatre) and various characters in Jihad!
