Tim Vincent

TV & Radio Presenter

From the youngest presenter of Blue Peter, to the host of America's highest rating entertainment show, Tim Vincent is one of those rare TV personalities to have found success on both sides of the Atlantic.

As the presenter of Access Hollywood on NBC since January 2005, Tim has been interviewing A-list Hollywood names for the entertainment primetime show, six nights a week. During his time in America, Tim was the first Brit to host Who Wants to be a Millionaire for ABC and was the host of Phenomenon, a five-part primetime series on NBC to find the next big psychic magician. Judged by Uri Geller and Criss Angel, the show transmitted in November 2007 while Tim was preparing for Dancing on Ice for ITV1. In Autumn 2008, Tim was asked especially by the A&E network to host a special live edition of Mindfreak, where Criss Angel performed one of his most amazing and dangerous feats to date — watch Tim's showreel for further details! Tim continues to interview all of the big A-list stars for Access Hollywood in the UK.

In the UK, Tim has been seen hosting GMTV's biggest ever cash prize competition, giving viewers a chance to win £100,000. He launched the The National Lottery EuroMillions Draw in February 2008, which he presented on alternate Fridays over the course of a year on BBC1 as well as the National Lottery Xtra, bringing all the latest lottery news and updates. Tim is a frequent guest presenter of the morning show on BBC Radio Wales and has hosted Secret Songs for Magic 105.4. He has also been a regular presenter of the midweek National Lottery Draws for BBC1. Tim is also a presenter of Escape to the Country for BBC2, which encompasses his passions for design, countryside and property. In February 2009 Tim took part in Let's Dance for Comic Relief with a number of his old Blue Peter colleagues. They performed a fantastic rendition of Jailhouse Rock but just lost out to Jo Brand for a place in the final. He has also provided the voiceover for Kitchen Criminals for BBC2 and has appeared as a guest on numerous chat shows and entertainment programmes including The Paul O'Grady Show, Daily Cooks Challenge, Cooking the Books, Loose Women, Entertainment Today for GMTV, Ready Steady Cook, Through the Keyhole, Richard and Judy and This Morning. Tim is also a regular on The Wright Stuff for Five and has been a guest co-host on the Myleene Klass show for Capital FM and the Jeremy Kyle radio show.

Previously, Tim was the New York correspondent for Entertainment Today on GMTV and the face of Animal Planet Reports; he also co-hosted This Morning with GMTV's Kate Garraway.

Tim has written LA Gossip, a monthly column for Sky Magazine.

Tim is a popular choice for international televised events, including the 2006 and 2007 Miss World pageants. He was chosen specifically for his live presenting skills and high international profile. Tim also co-hosted the LA Baftas for ITV3 and the ITV2 coverage of ITV's 50th anniversary celebrations — Avenue of the Stars.

A formidable and talented live television performer, Tim hosted the 3 day "scare-a-thon" I'm Famous and Frightened. He also hosted the infamous reality game show Something about Miriam for Sky One in 2004.

Tim was the main host of the BBC's The Clothes Show, the BBC's BAFTA-winning Short Change, Attractions on Five and Fully Booked. Guest presentation work includes reporting for BBC Sport, (London Marathon) hosting Big Breakfast in its first year, Wish You Were Here, ITV and Disney Specials, and the BBC Millennium Night. He also hosted TFI with Melanie Sykes on Galaxy Radio.

Tim is in popular demand for hosting blue chip corporate events, including The Clothes Show Live (NEC), Salon International for Wella, Specsavers Look of the Year Awards, the Conde Naste Bridal Awards, the Hong Kong Tourist Board Corporate Video and a Conservative Party Broadcast. He has also hosted the Vodafone Spring Ball for three consecutive years. In 2007, he launched the Winalot Walkies campaign with his beloved boxer dog Ruby. In April 2008 Tim presented awards at the Fragrance Foundation's annual FiFi Fragrance Awards and the BAFTA Cymru — the Welsh Baftas. He is currently the face of BT Vision where he presents the latest film news.

He is an accomplished actor, having appeared on screen in Children’s Ward, Dangerfield and Emmerdale, and on the stage in popular productions of Bouncers and Lady Chatterley's Lover.
