Rav Wilding is a former soldier and Metropolitan Police officer who has gone on to become one of television's most experienced and trusted factual presenters.

With a career spanning more than two decades, Rav has become a familiar face across BBC One, Channel 5, ITV and CBBC, presenting everything from crime and fraud to scams, policing, technology, public safety and live factual entertainment. He is also an experienced voiceover artist.

Rav is perhaps best known for his long association with Crimewatch. He co-hosted BBC One's hugely successful programme for eight years and, since 2009, has fronted Crimewatch Live, one of BBC One Daytime's longest-running and most popular factual shows as well as the spin-off show Crimewatch Caught.

He is also a regular co-host and expert on BBC One's Morning Live, where as an expert he covers subjects including crime, scams, technology, fraud and public safety.

Rav has presented five series of Scam Interceptors, working alongside ethical hackers to expose cyber criminals and scammers and help protect vulnerable people from becoming victims. The series was recognised with both the 2024 and 2026 BAFTA award for Best Daytime Programme as well as winning a number of other awards.

His other BBC One credits include Neighbourhood Blues, Frontline Fightback, Ill Gotten Gains, Crime Scene Rescue, Christmas City, Britain's Bravest Cops and Helicopter Heroes, which has aired in both daytime and primetime. He has also presented Remembrance Week, broadcasting from the frontline in Afghanistan, and has appeared regularly on The One Show as both a presenter and studio guest.

For Channel 5, Rav has fronted primetime factual series including Frontline Police and Law & Disorder: Catching Criminals Live. He has also taken on the ultimate physical challenge, competing in and winning ITV's 71 Degrees North, filmed in the Arctic Circle.

Away from adult factual television, Rav has presented two popular CBBC series, Cop School and Hero Squad, and has also provided voiceover for Channel 5 favourites including Big Body Squad and World's Craziest Police Pursuits.

Before television, Rav spent eight years as a Detective Constable with the Metropolitan Police, following four years with the Army's Parachute Air Defence Troop. His military and policing background gives him a unique level of first-hand experience and authority when presenting stories involving crime, policing, security and public safety.

Fitness has always been a major part of Rav's life. He was an Army adventure training instructor and is a qualified lifeguard and Level 3 Personal Trainer. Away from television, he can often be found in the gym or enjoying motorcycle track days.

With his combination of real-world experience, presenting expertise and an engaging, approachable style, Rav Wilding has established himself as one of the UK's leading factual and factual-entertainment presenters.
